Longwood rescreening is one of our specialties. Sometimes you will notice more and more of your screen panels becoming brittle or will begin to show signs of damage. This may be the time to consider re-screening your enclosure. In most cases, our screen technicians can have your enclosure back to new within 1 – 2 days. We don’t want you to be without your screen enclosure for long!
New, properly installed screen will last about 7 – 10 years under normal circumstances. With Florida temperatures, heavy rain, and strong winds you may notice your screen panels not lasting as long. Unfortunately several panels may come out or start to rip at the same time. It may become more cost effective to rescreen the entire enclosure rather than just doing the ones with damage.
Longwood Rescreening Includes:
- Removal of all old screen and spline and properly dispose of old materials.
- Install new Phifer insect screen and spline.
- We screen all panels separately. We do not roll the screen across sections.
- Installation of new door hardware and new bug sweeps.
- We will adjust screen doors if necessary.
- Inspect all cables for durability and safety.
